It is Recalled attention of the parliamentary parties in June a new media policy agreement for 2015 – 2018. This agreement must now be transformed into law with The Associated notices and circulars during the fall so that law can take effect from 1 January 2015. The Ministry of Culture issued draft two draft law amen ding the Law on Radio and Television Broadcasting in consultation July 3, 2014 with the consultation period 15 August 2014. SAML’s consultation on a draft law amending the Law on Radio and Television Broadcasting

The Parliamentary Culture Committee and Legal Affairs Committee proposes the establishment of a parliamentary working group to examine the possibilities for better protection of sensitive information and effective supervision of public institutions as well as private companies addressing them. The working group’s report number three can be read here.
